Helen Smith

I qualified in 2006 and started my veterinary career with Arwyn Davies in Hay-on-Wye. I became part of the Hay Vets team in 2007 and since then have loved the variety that working in mixed practice brings.

I have become increasingly interested in surgical cases and in 2018 gained a post-graduate certificate in small animal surgery.

I live in Talgarth with my partner Matt, Dora the dog and Oliver the cat, and keep a small flock of sheep at my family home in Cwmdu. I also enjoy gardening, especially growing things to eat!
