Dani Assirati

I qualified as a veterinary nurse in 1992 and have spent the bulk of my career in busy charity hospitals in London.  

I have worked at Hay Vets since 2016. I enjoy working in a practice that is part of the community I live in. Here I can really get to know our patients and be there for them from the newly acquired ball of fluff to the arthritic old timer – and everything in between. 

In addition to my role as a nurse, I work as a clinical coach to develop the next generation of veterinary nurses.  

Outside work I am a keen gardener, with a particular interest in exotic gardening, which can be challenging here in Wales! I share my home with a big family, collies, cats and rescue chickens.
